Analytics

Review playback activity, player health, and operational reporting.

Dashboard Overview

The analytics and reporting surfaces provide an operational summary of your digital signage network:

  • Playback activity: Recent or aggregated content delivery information
  • Player status: Online, offline, or degraded device visibility
  • Library activity: Content inventory and usage context
  • Operational trends: Health, uptime, or report-based summaries over time

Playback Reporting

StreamSign includes playback-oriented reporting for supported workflows. Depending on the report, entries can include:

  • Content item name and type
  • Player name and location
  • Start and end timestamp
  • Duration displayed
  • Playlist and schedule context

This reporting is useful for operational verification, internal reporting, and any workflow that needs a record of what was delivered to screens.

Content Analytics

Track performance metrics for individual content items:

  • Play Count: Total number of times the content has been displayed
  • Total Duration: Cumulative time the content has been on screen
  • Player Reach: Number of unique players that displayed the content
  • Last Played: When and where the content was last shown
  • Usage trends: Patterns in how content is being scheduled and played

Player Analytics

Monitor the health and performance of each player:

  • Uptime History: Chart of online/offline status over time
  • Content Played: List of content items displayed with timestamps
  • Operational events: Playback or connectivity issues when reported
  • Resource signals: Device-level details made available by the player type

Exporting Reports

Export analytics data for offline analysis, client reporting, or compliance:

  • CSV Export: Raw data export for spreadsheet analysis
  • Report export: Formatted reporting output where that workflow is enabled

Export behavior depends on the report surface you are using. Apply filters, review the output, and download the format offered by that workflow.

Date Range Filters

Analytics and reporting views support date filtering where applicable. Available presets and comparisons depend on the report surface visible in your workspace.
