Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Built-in Roles
Full platform access including cross-organization admin panel
Full access to all features except billing management
Create and manage content, playlists, schedules, layouts, widgets, AI Studio
Monitor and manage players; read-only content access
Read-only access across all resources
Custom Roles
Create custom roles from Dashboard → Settings → Roles. Select any combination of the 59 permissions to create roles tailored to your organization. For example, create a "Marketing Manager" role with content and playlist permissions but no player access.
Approval Workflows
Enterprise plans include approval workflows. When enabled, content must be approved by a designated approver before it can be published or deployed to players. Configure approval rules from Dashboard → Settings → Approval Workflows. Set up multi-level approval chains and automatic escalation.

StreamSign maintains a complete audit log of all actions taken in your organization:
- User logins and logouts
- Content uploads, edits, and deletions
- Playlist and schedule changes
- Player registrations and commands
- Settings and permission changes

Audit logs are retained for 365 days. Export logs in CSV format for compliance reporting.
