Account Setup
Set up your organization, invite your team, and configure your workspace.
Creating Your Account
When you register for StreamSign, you provide:
- Full name — displayed on your profile and in audit logs
- Email address — used for login, notifications, and recovery
- Password — minimum password requirements are enforced during signup (or use a supported sign-in provider if offered in your workspace)
- Organization name — your company or team name
After registration, check your email for a verification link. Click it to activate your account. Your initial organization workspace is created during onboarding, and your starting role is determined by that signup flow.
Organization Settings
After logging in, visit Dashboard → Settings to configure your organization:
- Organization name — update your company name
- Default timezone — used for scheduling and analytics
- Branding — upload your organization logo
Inviting Team Members
Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Users and click "Invite User".
- Enter the team member's email address
- Select the role appropriate for that user
- Click "Send Invitation"
The invited user will receive an email with a link to join your organization and complete their access setup.
User Roles
StreamSign includes built-in role patterns for administrative, content, operational, and read-only access:
Super Admin
Reserved for cross-organization or platform-level administration where available.
Admin
Manages the organization workspace, users, and most operational workflows.
Content Manager
Create and manage content, playlists, schedules, layouts, widgets, and use AI Studio. Read-only for players.
Player Operator
Monitor and manage players (including reboot). Read-only access to content, playlists, and schedules.
Viewer
Read-only access to all resources. Cannot create, edit, or delete anything.
Some organizations also use custom roles to match their internal access model. Review the roles screen in your workspace for the exact permission structure available to your team.
Profile Settings
Each user can manage their profile from Dashboard → Profile. You can update your name, update your password, and configure any authentication options enabled for your organization, such as MFA or passkeys.
